For each raked online internet poker hand (minimum rake of $0.50) you play you earn 1 point, and you earn 1 point for each $1 of poker tournament buy-in fee. At 100 points $10 will be transferred from your Pending Bonus account to your poker room cash account.

However, in the competitive world of established online internet poker room you need to offer more than reliable and simple software. Absolute Poker: How easy is it to make money here?
Absolute Poker has some small stakes poker tables where you would think there would be more fish. Like many online internet poker rooms, there are plenty of poor online internet poker players but for the most part the quality of poker play at AbsolutePoker.com is fairly good in the ring games. Some of the online internet poker players we encountered in the ring poker games were better than the fish we usually run into at another online internet poker room, Party Poker. This made the games inticing and fun, even at the micro stakes. Absolute Poker is therefore a really good poker room to develop your poker strategies at.
However, unlike the cash Absolute Poker cash games, the online internet poker tournaments at Absolute Poker were played at a very low level. In the poker tournaments, we saw lots of poker players make terrible wagers and awful calls. Check out the SnG's and tournaments at Absolute Poker - they truly are very soft.
Player traffic
The online internet poker traffic at the site, when we tested it before we did this review, was extremely high, which may have something to do with the fact that US online internet poker player are more than welcome at this online internet poker room (which is not that normal any longer). Seats are available at most small to medium limit cash tables and there is not a lot of wait for the single table tournaments to fill up. At a random friday night there were approx. 12,000 online internet poker players playing at almost 1800 poker tables. Like most online internet poker rooms, player levels cover the whole range and you will normally see that the skill level of the online internet poker players matches the table limits at which they are playing fairly well.
Playability
Absolute Poker has a very smooth looking interface. The online internet poker players have avatars which are always fun to check out. Do not contact support if you do not see your uploaded avatar image straight away as it takes approx. 24 hours before it's available.
Everything is very easy to find at AbsolutePoker: The Texas Hold 'Em poker tables are on the left tab and the poker tournaments are on the right tab and they are both easy to see as is The Green Cashier Button in the lower left corner of the screen. The Green Cashier Button will take you to an area where you can see your Available Balance as well as your Pending Account Balance (unpaid poker room bonus). It also shows your Absolute Reward points (10,000 and up gives you the right to organize private multi-player online internet poker tournaments!)
It is easy to reload at the poker table, you just hit Menu-Buy Chips. The AbsolutePoker.com software works nicely.
Absolute Poker's menu option: Find Poker User is a good fish finder if you take player notes and like to play against certain players or friends.
Absolute Poker's Menu - Guest Relations - Hand History feature works great. Like many other poker rooms, AbsolutePoker offers this hand history feature to help you re-evaluate your play.

Email support to the various departments at Absolute Poker is available. Security, Customer Service, Banking, Affiliates, Promotions and Tournaments each have their own contact addresses for direct access. We are unaware of any reported problems with the support team at Absolute Poker and testimonials can be found at the website.
