This pokerroom allows US players to play at their table!
Poker.com opened in February of 2005 and is therefore a fairly new poker room.
Bonus
Use our bonus link to receive a 100% up to $200 first deposit poker bonus from Poker.com. You need to earn 250 comp points for each $1 in bonus money, which will be released in $10 increments. Any remaining bonus money will be forfeited on withdrawal.
Software
The Poker.com software is still going through a development stage and is rapidly improving with each update. The software itself is reliable but the graphics and "feel" of the software can sometimes come across as a little basic / dated.
Having said that the Poker.com software offers some features that are rarely found in any of the other operators' software and in this sense the Poker.com software is ahead of the field.
Features include:
- Poker.com awards - if you win a big poker tournament you get a customizable trophy or ribbon on your player box to show off your accomplishments. Stars are also awarded for regular play.
- Tag players - While playing poker you are able to choose from a variety of tags to help you remember player attributes. Fish, sharks, bluffers, muppets & more!
- Custom Table Graphics - play an Aussie Millions Satellite poker tournament and you'll be playing on a table decorated with the Australian Flag. Make a final table of a poker tournament and you'll see the table graphics change to an upgraded poker tournament final table under the spotlights.
- All in Percentages - When all remaining players are all in, see the relative percentage chances of winning for all players still in the hand.
- Rabbit Hunt - If you win the hand with cards still to come you can choose to see what would have come next. But the penalty is you have to show the rest of the table your cards.
- Expose One Card - If you are the last to fold or the winner of the poker hand, you have the option to flash just one card, which could be a good idea to mess with your poker oppenents' heads.
Poker.com: How easy is it to make money here?
As a new and small poker room the online professionals have yet to discover the new feeding ground. Many new players just type in poker.com in their browser and start to play at Poker.com. Needless to say new players often process no poker skills whatsoever and frequenting the Poker.com tables can be quite profitable.
Player traffic
Site traffic is strong at Poker.com (~2500 ring game players at peak plus ~4500 tournament players), we've had no trouble finding action & Poker.com's popularity is growing all the time. $100 Freerolls every 3 hours - but be in quick as they fill up fast!
Playability
The Poker.com software is neatly programmed, nice and clear. At first glance it comes across as being very easy to use and has lots of cool functions but unfortunately there are a few issues which may annoy some of the more more seasoned poker players.
Firstly, it is very difficult to locate the “number of players connected” display. Thus, without scrolling through the tables, there is not way of being absolutely certain whether there are many players online or not. Secondly, the poker software only allows you to watch a single window at a time. Hence, if you would like to participate in poker games at five poker tables it isn't a problem but you cannot see five poker tables simultaneously. Instead, you get “tabs” along the top of the window which you have to click on to jump from poker table one to poker table two to poker table three... and so on.
Apart from these two issues, the interface is very good to use. If you only play a single table at any one time and don’t care about how many other poker players are online, you cannot find anything to complain about here. The table graphics are clear and soothing to the eye, and there are the usual nice options such as 4 colour deck, which we recommend poker players to take care of
Customer service
Customer Service at Poker.com is via email directly or email through Poker.com's software. Either way, Poker.com has very good customer service. Email are usually answered within 20-30 minutes and are concise and knowledgeable in their reply. Initial cashout speed is dismal, but subsequent cashouts are very fast with cashouts to NETeller on par with the best cashout speeds in the industry.
